Ethics Case of the Year
Each year, APA chapters and divisions are encouraged to use a multiple-scenario ethics case at conferences and meetings. Remember to enter your 90-minute session for CM | 1.5 | Ethics credits.
Consult the Ethics Toolkit and consider your format options. Also consider using either the entire eight-scenario case or examining only one scenario in depth within the larger case context. Another alternative is to pick two or three scenarios for discussion.

Use the formatted PowerPoint presentation of the ethics case as part of your session, adding your own slides as needed.
Notes on the 2020–21 Ethics Case of the Year
This year's "case of the year" is a series of ethical scenarios based on real-life planning issues from the past year. It was developed by the AICP Ethics Committee, with the assistance of AICP Ethics Officer James Peters, FAICP. The ethics topics discussed are: confidential information, endorsements, personal property, professional misrepresentation, public engagement, running for office, and social equity.
